Firewood is measured in cords. A cord measures 4 ft x 8 ft x 12 or 16 inches.). Many firewood dealers sell part-cords called face cords or stove cords.

To keep your firewood properly you need to store it by following certain rules. Stack the wood on ground-pallets with space between each row. You may also cover the firewood with a tarp but do not cover it completely as air flow is the best way to dry your firewood properly.

We strongly suggest ordering during the spring. This way, you will make sure that the wood has been cut the preceding winter and will have time to dry a few months before delivery.
